This concert, titled HOPE, will feature a unique combination of inspirational music and poetry.
Performed by three well-known Chinese and Western artists, the program will include famous Chinese and Western themes, as well as new compositions.
Performers will include:
George Maxman - violinist and composer
George Maxman is a Russian born, American violinist. He has become known as a musician gifted with a rare emotional intensity, enormous strength of technique and purity of tone.
Erhu - Duan Aiai
Aiai Duan is a National first-rank Artist. She has been a soloists for the Shanghai National Orchestra, President of Shanghai Musicians Association Erhu professional committee, Board member of Shanghai performing arts Federation, and Guest professor at the Xi'an Conservatory of Music.
Weicong Zhang - piano
Weicong Zhang, Chinese pianist, has shared the stage with many distinguished artists, including Pierre Amoyal, Ian Swanson, Albert Markov, Alexander Markov, Kathleen Winkler, FengNing, Bing Huang, SiqingLv, Nobuko Imai, Lars Anders Tomter, Matthias Buchholz, Teng Li, Haiye Ni, ReinhardLatzko, Emmanuel Pahud, Henrik Wiese.
